Reservation Terms & Conditions

ONLINE BOOKING

·         When making your booking online you will have the option to choose your preferred dining area. Please note that this is a preference and tables are allocated on the day by the restaurant team and although we will do everything, we can allocate a table in your preferred area, we cannot always guarantee this (excludes the high table).

·         All available time slots will show on the booking form, if your desired time slot is not available this is because we are fully booked at that time. Please choose an alternative time and/or day.

RESERVATION CONDITIONS

·         Please be mindful that your table reservation is subject to a time restriction from the original booking time.

o    For tables of 1 to 2 people we require the table back after 1 hour and 45 minutes.

o    For tables of 3+ people we require the table back after 2 hours.

·         Please contact us in advance if you would like your table for longer than the times allocated above. If we have space available, we will do our best to accommodate you.

·         In most cases we will require the table back at that given time. While our team will try their best to accommodate and ensure that every table receives the full MAYA experience. If you or any of the party members are running late, even if you notify us of a late arrival, we may have to limit your experience with us; and politely ask you to vacate the table.

·         If you are running late, we kindly ask that you notify us by phone 023 9229 2646 at your earliest convenience. Your table will be held for 15 minutes after the original booking time, and if you haven’t arrived or informed us of your late arrival, we reserve the right to release the table.

·         We are an independent restaurant and therefore rely on reservations being honoured to ensure our continued success. We kindly ask that, should you need to modify your reservation, you do so as soon as possible.

BOOKING CONFIRMATION

·         For bookings made online, card details are required at the time of booking. You will receive a booking confirmation to the email address provided within a few seconds of making your booking.

·         For bookings made over the phone, you will be required to provide card details to secure the booking. Please note that until you have provided us with your card details this booking is only provisional. You will receive an email containing a link shortly after the provisional booking is made, where you will need to enter your card details to secure and confirm the booking. If we do not receive card details within 48 hours of the provisional booking email being sent, your booking will be automatically released from the system.

·         All payment card details are held, and any deposit or cancellation fees will be processed by Stripe Payments UK, Ltd who act on behalf of MAYA.

PAYMENT

·         A 10% discretionary service charge will be added to your final bill.

CANCELLATION POLICY

·         We require at least four hours’ notice for every cancellation. For bookings cancelled with less than four hours’ notice, we reserve the right to charge a cancellation fee of £10.00 per person.

·         We will, where possible, attempt to resell tables when we receive cancellation and where we are successful, we will not charge a fee (unless the resold reservation results in a reduction of covers, we reserve the right to charge a fee proportionate to the reduction).

·         We reserve the right to charge a no-show fee of £10.00 per person if you do not show for a reservation, by not appearing on the date and time stated within your confirmation email.

·         We are an independent restaurant and therefore rely on reservations being honoured to ensure our continued success. We are sorry that cancellation charges have become necessary, but we have had too many ‘no-shows’ resulting in empty tables we could have reserved for other customers.
